That was a disgraceful scoreline for an FA Cup Final - even Pepe looked embarrassed!
Has that been us, instead of Watford, I would have expected more of a fight..

Fuck off about the rich owners.
We have rich owners and we will still never win rock all under these clowns.
I want a trophy before I die. Bring on the Arabs, Russians, Yanks or whoever can make that happen. The fans deserves better than the fucking mediocrity that we have to suffer.

AOI, I think most of us understand that. It's the way of the modern world.
It will never go back.. So you either join them or get permanently left behind.
Maybe you need to accept things have changed..

Bit of a bore fest really wasn't it, especially once it was 2-0, never in doubt who would win, Watford totally outclassed.

What those of you who think having Billionaire owners is a good thing fail to understand is that they totally skew the transfer market. By having a 'money no object' philosophy all they do is push up the prices to atronomical levels forcing clubs below them, such as us, into having to pay prices that are far higher than they would be without these extravagant owners. Abramovich started it and more recently the Arabs with the massive sovereign wealth fund behind them at City and PSG have taken it to even higher levels. But some of you are too stupid to understand this and think it's great.

People moaning about city buying success are same ones saying we need to be bought by billionaire owners to compete. Canโt win with some people.

BTW... The finances of the top mega spenders need to be closely monitored... Very cosy highly priced sponsorships for City...ManU...Pool...Chelsea...allows them to outbid everyone for Top players transfer fees and wages... AND... Limits on young loanees per club...siphoning up young talent... Prem needs to sort it out... The supposed FFP limits aren't working or enforced properly...except for the "Small clubs..."

AOI we'd all love to see that as no doubt City fans would probably prefer it.
But unfortunately those days are gone, so yes given the choice of never being successful or never being in contention..

AOI you call them mercenaries? FMOB I would love to have some mercenaries like those who run half a marathon every game. Absolute dedication and professionalism.
Mercenaries are the type of shit that we buy. Nasri, Alex song, mido etc

FIFA have said they're changing the rules on loan players, they all have to be below 21 and can only have 4-6 out on loan at one time.
Let's hope they go through with it

"I want to see the team succeed through the club making the right decisions and bringing a few kids through the academy. Not succeed because we bought a load of mercenaries for hundreds of millions."
I agree with the sentiment but think you could be waiting a while for any success.

That's where dopes like you are totally wrong. I'd get zero pleasure from winning loads of silverware just because a billionaire lavished money on the team, as happened with Chelsea and City. Where's the satisfaction in that?

A colleague is on Elton John's Road crew. He told me they'd moved sound check back to watch the game. At half time it was moved forward again.

What intrigues me is that the prize money for any competition isn't anywhere near what teams spend to win the trophies so I'm not sure how these teams like City make a profit business wise unless TV and Commercial does that.
I certainly don't have an issue with Billionaire owners. You have the money to buy then fine, good luck to you. What I do think is bad for English football though is how some of these top clubs stockpile players and throw them all out on loan and wallop massive price tags on them. I mean we would love a Loftus Cheek or some of the others that rarely play and are shipped out on loan. That is where a change needs to be made. Clubs shouldn't be allowed to stockpile players just to stop others getting them
